Here comes our TikToktionaries, our own Komsomol – the vanguard of woke youth, the red-tinted brigade of socially conscious but socially inept Gen Zers constantly scouring online life and IRL to purge anything they deem problematic from the internet, the world and your private life. Armed with hashtag hashtags and fueled by overwrought angst, these socially conscious Sovietistas excel at purity councils to enforce compliance with their ever-quickening dogma.
Contradiction or dissent is swiftly met with dismissal as a -phobe, -ist or -ism. Independent thought? That can’t be anymore.
Because it is here, the TikToktionaries, this new Komsomol – the self-appointed commissars of cultural revolution 2.0, powering society’s Struggle Sessions via student protest show trials. Victory over incorrect thoughtcrimes is assured, by Any Means TV necessary! From the river to the sea!
The TikToktionaries refuse to accept that it is a new Komsomol. They imagine themselves to be progressive and free-thinking. They believe they are the bearer of progress. The TikToktionaries , like the ones before them, like any old Komsomol, are vain. They imagine that youth compensates for their ability to be wise. They imagine that thinking and energy are interchangeable. The TikToktionaries do not call themselves such. They flirt with youth and beauty. In reality, they are neither smart nor beautiful. They are not smart because any iteration of Komsomol is doomed to not be smart. And it is not beautiful because stupidity cannot be beautiful.
The TikToktionaries follow the ‘new normal’. They are ready to make sacrifices in the name of the new order, and this makes them dangerous. Beware! The TikToktionaries are widely supported by this ‘new normal’. For this reason, the TikToktionaries feel even more justified and even more unpunished in their actions. The TikToktionaries do not understand how deeply indoctrinated they are.
The TikToktionaries are evil.
They do not tolerate different opinions. The TikToktionaries are capable of hurting, offending, and, if given the chance, biting.
They are not ashamed of this. They finds it right and useful. They consider it a natural course of evolution. The TikToktionaries, that new old Komsomol, by definition, do not doubt their truth. The TikToktionaries are ready to go to war without regard for their loved ones. Even for their children. In fact, it should be known that the TikToktionaries have no children, which facilitates their assigned tasks. The TikToktionaries do not commit atrocities. They persuades in the only way they knows – with atrocities. This has always been a distinctive feature of the Komsomol.
The TikToktionaries have a reduced instinct for self-preservation. This is the first thing taken away when creating a Komsomol. Because a good Komsomol must be ready for self-sacrifice.
The TikToktionaries are devoid of compassion.
The TikToktionaries have no memory. If they did, they would be horrified at how much they resembles the old Komsomol. They resemble it in pathos, anger, and especially in their entrenched convictions.
The TikToktionaries, like their cultural progenitors, have one goal: to fill the void with the required number of inert people to shape the future order. But most of all, the TikToktionaries hate the old Komsomol and they have convinced themselves that they has nothing in common with it. Well…
